Join us for the North Carolina Central University Alumni Association (NCCUAA) National Convention and Centennial Celebration to be held on
July 8-10, 2010, at the Millennium Hotel, Durham, North Carolina. Alumni and friends from across the country will gather to commemorate the heritage and legacy of North Carolina Central University.
In 1910, Dr. James E. Shepard founded our illustrious University on principles of truth and service. Continuing Dr. Shepard’s vision, we will celebrate 100 years of our University’s outstanding achievements and raise funds to support the advancement of its mission.
Whether your memories at NCCU include hanging out at the bowl, leaning on the rail, living in Chidley Hall or Latham Hall, participating in Greek life, playing cards in the student union, or tailgating at the Alumni House, the National Convention offers you an opportunity to renew your passion for NCCU while reminiscing with friends and classmates.

Alumni Association Centennial Project
The Centennial Project supports the University’s Invest in the Vision
Champaign, increase the number of endowed chairs, and enhances student
scholarship. Everyone can participate.
Individual
- Alumni Scholarship Program - $10 or more
- Alumni Endowed Chair - $200 or more
Chapter/Regional
- Invest in the Vision Campaign – See your local chapter president
or regional vice president.
Memories are priceless! Join a roster of alumni and friends by sharing reflections of organizations and experiences at NCCU. Identify reflections and contribute $10 for each selection. Your name will be listed with each organization and experience selected.

Countdown to July 2010
Greetings and welcome to the NCCU Alumni Association National Convention and Centennial Celebration. We hope to make this
blog an interactive experience. Use this to get answers to convention related questions that you have. You can contact us
directly at convention2010@nccualumni.org and we’ll respond to you as quickly as possible with the most complete answer available.
The NCCU Alumni Association Convention committee is very excited about this convention. As Alumnus can we come together and
build a better NCCU Alumni Aassociation by participating in the decision-making process for the association. As an extra bit
of excitement, our beloved university is celebrating a major accomplishment – 100 YEARS of providing quality education and
opportunities. We are fortunate to be alive to witness this milestone.
